National Law University Tripura (NLUT), Agartala, is one of India's newest National Law Universities, the 25th, established in 2022, with its first academic session beginning in October 2022. NLU Tripura admits students to the BA LLB and LLM only through CLAT, run by the Consortium of National Law Universities, with the LLM through CLAT PG. Register for CLAT on the Consortium website during the application window, appear for the exam, and after results take part in the centralised CLAT counselling, placing NLU Tripura high in your preference order. Tripura domicile candidates should claim the state quota with the required documents. If a seat is allotted, you pay the prescribed fee to confirm admission and report to the Agartala campus. NLU Tripura has a small intake of 60 seats in the BA LLB (Hons), along with seats in the LLM. Thirty percent of seats are reserved for Tripura state domicile candidates across the General, ST and SC categories, with the remainder open to all-India applicants, and seats are further reserved for the applicable categories, with provision for specially abled persons. NLU Tripura hostel and campus
NLU Tripura operates from a campus in Narsingarh, Agartala, with academic facilities, a library and hostel accommodation, where rooms are allotted with priority to students who are not residents of Agartala.
